Day 99 of MY BLOG: April 9, 2010: I Slipped on Mashed Potatoes in the Middle of the Cafeteria!
Was I lucky enough to attend the six grades in the part attached to the first Memorial Middle School in Kingsville, Texas. When I was in my classes was 7 degrees in most of the campus. But when I was in grade 8, I was fortunate enough to become the first group of eighth graders to attend the new campus. He was a beautiful campus. Bright halls were lit and the doors were so grand and modern for 1980.
I was brand new pair of Tawny colored desert boots. They were so comfortable. I wore them with jeans and thought I looked really're stylish.Rubber tires gripped the floor and I did often screeching noise in the hallways.
Our music room was carpeted hall. I tripped in the shoes twice during the same week! After the second fall, I took my shoes Papa Rey. Luckily, at that time, we spent the same size in shoes. He said the shoes are going to be perfect for a roofing job he had to carry the very slanted roof. I knew that he was trying to be funny. After I felt ashamed, I just smiled. I told him to be careful and I did not trip.
